CAREER DEVELOPMENT
EIHAB's employment coaching and support services are tailored to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in achieving success in their jobs. Through one-on-one job coaching, skill reinforcement, accommodation assistance, conflict resolution, and advocacy efforts, EIHAB helps individuals navigate the workplace effectively. These services aim to promote independence, boost confidence, and foster inclusion, ensuring that individuals with IDD have the support they need to thrive professionally and contribute meaningfully to their workplaces. ENTREPRENEURSHIP
EIHAB's mentoring entrepreneurship support is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to explore and establish their own businesses. EIHAB connects these entrepreneurs with experienced mentors who provide guidance and advice and networks for success. Through skill development programs and access to funding opportunities, EIHAB equips these individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the entrepreneurial journey confidently. This support not only fosters independence and self-reliance but also promotes inclusion and empowerment within the entrepreneurial community. We offer these services in NY and soon in NJ.
COMMUNITY
JOB READINESS
EIHAB uses Community Job Readiness programs to teach work ethics while promoting and supporting community involvement. These programs focus on preparing individuals for employment by instilling valuable work-related skills and behaviors, such as punctuality, teamwork, communication, and responsibility. Additionally, they encourage active participation in community activities, fostering a sense of belonging and social engagement.
