EIHAB delivers a range of services across Bergen, Middlesex, Monmouth, Burlington, Somerset and Ocean Counties. Our first-rate team is comprised of 250 clinicians and direct support professionals working together to ensure the highest quality care for the individuals we serve.

Established in 2012, EIHAB NJ provides in-home respite to intellectually challenged residents enabling them to live independently in the community. We also operate group homes, each beautifully appointed, offering personalized care and 2:1 supervision to developmentally disabled individuals. Some residences are handicap accessible to accommodate the needs of residents who are physically compromised.

EIHAB strives for increased independence, helping individuals enhance different skill sets and achieve their goals. Recreational outings are provided regularly fostering greater socialization and community inclusion.

EIHAB NJ is a proud partner of Project Freedom in Toms River, offering housing, advocacy and other support services to 18 residents with developmental disabilities. Through our shared vision and mission, our dedicated teams work together to help individuals lead fulfilling, productive lives in the community.

  • Group Home Services

Residential group home services provide individuals with a group living experience in a well-structured homelike environment under the supervision of trained staff.

Individuals in conjunction with their clinical treatment plans are afforded opportunities to utilize the educational, vocational, social, recreational, and religious resources available in the community.

  • Supervised Apartments

Our supervised apartments are available for adults who have achieved the ability to live a more independent lifestyle with minimal staffing support. Our individuals are encouraged to schedule their own apartments, shop for food and create their own menus, banking and budgeting responsibly, and pursue recreational activities.

  • Supportive Living

Supportive living provides ongoing support to those in need who are capable of living alone in their own apartments in the community. Individuals in this program meet with a service coordinator on a monthly basis to review and develop their service plans, and to receive support according to their needs.Ultimately, we want to enable participants to live productively in the community without assistance.

  • In-Home Supports

In-Home Supports are provided by highly trained professional staffs who deliver exemplary care to developmentally disabled individuals in their homes when primary care givers are preoccupied.

  • Life Skills

Our highly trained staff teaches individuals simple meal preparations, food safety, maintenance skills, proper clothing care, and other basic skills helping them lead productive fulfilling lives.Additionally, individuals volunteer at nearby hospitals, nursing homes, retail establishments, and day care centers.
